According to him, Municipality of Palilula at the beginning of 2012. established close co-operation with the French city Dulene, after the project was implemented by the students and professors of High School "Svetozar Markovic". Today, with the help of the Honorary Consul of France, Mr. Miljkovic, Municipality announced specific actions that will help to strengthen the ties, exchange of experience, our promotion and resources, bringing new investment to our city and the municipality.

Francophone Days encouraged students and teachers

"My students first performed the play Oh la la college this year in March, during the Francophone Day, at the Children's Center in Cair "- said Aleksandra Arsic, a professor of French. Performance in the Puppet Theatre, that was initiated by Palilula Municipality will be a second performance of our play to charity. Palilula Municipality and the City of Dulene-example of decentralised cooperation

Cooperation with Municipality of Palilula is actually a continuation of co-operation between the French community, supported by the French Embassy, this particular department of Gironde and the City of Nis-said Sasa Miljkovic, Honorary Consul of France in Nis. The cooperation started in June last year, and included the city municipalities "Mediana" and "Pantelej". Now these activities include Palilula, which is well ahead of other municipalities, and it have been long active in decentralized cooperation with France. When I mention decentralized cooperation between municipalities of Serbia and the municipality from France, it means showing the possibility of outside ministries of foreign affairs, which are present in this country, that they can make direct contacts, exchanges and cooperation and the implementation of projects. It is a form of cooperation that is primarily intended for learning, intended for people, government, culture and people of the local government. The long term goal of this cooperation is to support the exchange visits but also the common approach to European funds. I told, emphasized honorary Consul Miljkovic, it is unfair to Palilula municipality, that it was not included in this program and because this Municipality is one of the few in Serbia, which has already signed an agreement with the French city of Dulene. The agreement is the culmination of cooperation that exists in the bilingual class of Gymnasium "Svetozar Markovic", which is in the territory of municipality of Palilula.

"I have to admit that I received support from Municipality of Palilula and extra motivation and mission to strengthen this cooperation. This action is just one of many activities that suggests new encounters. Announcing a joint discussion with the city of Dulene and common approach to competition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France, during in 2014. year we will have a joint discussion on the possibility of applying for European funds, said Sasa Miljkovic. He stressed that the Municipality of Palilula is one of the most successful municipalities in Serbia, with largest number of projects funded by European funds, so that the French could learn something from us. This is one of the purposes of mutual understanding and mutual enrichment. Areas that are most interesting for cooperation are activities of youth, strengthening local government, culture, environment. As I learned from President Dzunic, there are areas in which the Palilula is already present in competitive bidding for funds for cross-border cooperation. Time during the intensification of European integration in 2014 and the 2015th, will also include a few other issues like agriculture, concluded Consul Miljkovic.
